Not what you wore. Not what you drank. Not who you were with, what you said, how you flirted, whether you said yes to one thing and not another, whether you froze instead of fighting back, whether you've done this before, whether you're still in touch with them. None of it. The only person responsible for someone else's violence is the person who chose it.
You don't have to report it. You don't have to know what you want yet. You don't have to talk about it today, or ever, to anyone but yourself. Whatever pace you need is the right pace.
Numb, furious, calm, like nothing happened, like everything happened - there's no correct reaction to surviving something like this, and however you're carrying it is not wrong.
A good week doesn't mean it's over. A hard day months from now doesn't mean you're failing. Both can be true at the same time.
